Upgrading to the full version
What the full version adds, and how upgrading actually works.
What the full version adds
Canvas, properly connected. Launch InteGrade from inside a Canvas course, have your roster import itself and stay current as students add and drop, and send finished grades back to the gradebook without exporting anything. See Sending grades to Canvas and Syncing your roster from Canvas.
Students with accounts. They submit their own work, and they can open a regrade request on a specific question instead of emailing you about it. See Regrade requests.
Outreach that writes itself. The free plan shows you who has not turned work in. The full version drafts the messages and sends them to those students in their Canvas inbox, with their actual scores and rubric context filled in. See Automatic communication.
Department-wide tools. A read-only view across every section in a department, shared rubric libraries across teachers, and administrative controls.
The limits lift. Courses, assignments, roster size, and the AI allowance stop being the thing you plan around, and scans are not removed on a timer.
How upgrading works
There is no checkout page, and no card to enter. The full version is licensed to a department or an institution rather than sold per teacher, which means upgrading is a conversation rather than a purchase you can make on your own.
In practice it goes like this:
- You decide the full version is worth having.
- Your department chair, director of undergraduate studies, or whoever holds the budget agrees.
- We set it up with them.
InteGrade tries to make step 2 easy: where the app offers an upgrade, it drafts the email to your chair for you, explaining what it is and what it costs, so you can read it, edit it, and forward it. You are not expected to write a business case from scratch.
Asking questions first
You do not need to have your chair on board to ask. If you want to know whether InteGrade would work with your college's Canvas, what the migration looks like, or whether your department already has a licence, email support@integrade.app.
What happens to your work
Nothing is left behind when a department upgrades. The courses, rubrics, and grades you built on the free plan are yours and they come with you.
