Sending grades to Canvas
Finalized scores land in the Canvas gradebook. No CSV juggling.
Because InteGrade is connected to your Canvas course, finalized grades post directly into the Canvas gradebook column for the assignment.
Posting grades
- Finish grading. The assignment's progress view shows anything still ungraded.
- Post grades to Canvas from the assignment.
- Scores appear in the linked Canvas gradebook column for every matched student.
What syncs
Total scores per student sync into the gradebook column. The detailed breakdown, applied rubric items, comments, and annotations, lives in InteGrade, where students view their full feedback.
Group assignments
Canvas scores follow the submission, so on a shared group only the member who submitted receives a score. The co-authors have no submission of their own and are not posted at all. Record their grades in Canvas yourself, or work from the CSV export, which gives every member their own row.
Things to check before posting
- Every submission is matched to a student. Unmatched submissions have nowhere to post.
- The sync indicator shows everything synced. Posting reflects what the server has. See The sync status indicator.
Re-posting after changes
Regrades and corrections can be posted again; the Canvas column updates to current scores.
